The Red Sea is renowned for its rich underwater life. It is considered one of the best and most beautiful places for diving and snorkeling.
With year-round favorable weather conditions, vibrant coral reefs, and friendly locals, Egypt is one of the most popular vacation destinations.
Many people dream of being surrounded by sea turtles. One place where you can encounter them is Abu Dabbab.
This name refers to a natural bay shaped like a U. It is located at the mouth of a valley of the same name, about 35 km from Marsa Alam.
The center of the bay features a sandy bottom rich in seagrasses. To the north and south, it is surrounded by coral reefs that protect it from strong currents. On these reefs, you can find hawksbill sea turtles.
They come here to feed and rest in the bay’s waters. Dugongs (sea cows) also often graze in the bay. While snorkeling, you can admire rays and moray eels.
This trip can bring particular joy to families with children, who will have the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitat.
